Today is the first birthday for Gryphon’s Aerie.
It is NOT the first birthday for Gryphon!

Happy 1st Birthday to your blog!
And Happy belated 463rd to you. I did the math. You were born is 1546. An exciting time. Rwo key events of that year were: Jan 23rd – Having published nothing for eleven years, Francois Rabelais publishes the Tiers Livre, his sequel to Gargantua and Pantagruel.
Jun 7th – England signs Peace of Andres with Scotland/Ireland

Sorry I haven’t been around at all, only just got your message on my ‘about’ page regarding your blogroll. I completely understand you taking the Run off as there’s been a couple of months of inactivity. Basically I started my masters in political economy in October and have been bogged down in reading and assignments for that so haven’t felt like writing at all. Think I may make a return soon though, but may create a whole new page. I’m not 100% sure whether it’ll be on WordPress or not, but I’ll let you know.
I hope everything is going ok with you and I’m happy to see the Aerie is still going from strength to strength!
